Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
If you want to live a green life, the quickest and easiest way is to recycle. Read some simple tips to make remembering and executing recycling in your home a part of your daily routine.
- Aluminum recycling tips: remember to crush your aluminum cans to save space in your recycling bin. Also remember to rinse our or at least empty to contents of your cans before you recycle.
- Cardboard recycling tips: break down big cardboard boxes or cardboard products. Keep cardboard products dry, as wet cardboard often cannot be recycled.
- Glass recycling tips: try to keep glass bottles in tact, broken glasses cannot be recycled.
- Paper recycling tips: while many paper products can be recycled, remember that tissues and carbon paper products cannot be recycled.
- Plastic recycling tips: remove lids from plastic containers before recycling.
If you live in an apartment community, try to take out your recycling every day before you head out to work, and soon you will be doing your part to promote an eco-friendly household.
