1) Go "Paperless": Try to send more emails and texts (or even make phone calls) instead of sending traditional paper mail, such as thank you notes.
2) Prioritize Bike Riding: Now that it is almost springtime, get out the bike and prioritize bicycle travel more when heading to work or running errands. This green form of transportation will also save money normally spent on gas!
3) Watch Excess Water Usage: Conserve water by switching from baths to showers, or by simply turning off the water tap when brushing teeth or washing dishes to avoid wasting excess water.
4) Unplug Appliances When Leaving: Try to unplug appliances that can act as "energy vampires" and use energy even when not in use. Unplug appliances like lamps, coffee makers, and televisions before leaving the home for a long period of time.
5) Manage Food Waste: Create grocery lists and prepare leftovers to easily manage food purchases and prevent food waste.
